The name lies — there are six boxes
On screen, everything the invasion drops is called "Box of Luck". One name.
But behind it there are six different boxes, and the game never tells you which one you got. What decides is the monster you killed.
Which ones are worth chasing
| Golden monster | Box | Chance of excellent |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Goblin · Soldier · Rabbit | Box of Kundun 1 | 5.5% |
| Tantalos · Iron Wheel · Stone Golem · Crust | Box of Kundun 3 | 2.0% |
| Golden Dragon | Kundun 2 or 3 | 1.9% |
| Titan · Lizard King · Vepar · Devil | Box of Kundun 2 | 1.7% |
| Satyros · Twin Tail | Box of Kundun 4 | 0% |
| Iron Knight · Napin | Box of Kundun 5 | 0% |
| Great Dragon | Kundun 4 or 5 | 0% |
| Budge Dragon | Box of Luck | 0% |
Chasing the Goblin, the Soldier and the Rabbit pays three times more than any other golden. And five of the eight groups give no excellent at all — only jewels.
This is the fact that most changes what you do during an invasion, and it's the one thing the game doesn't tell you.
When it hits, it hits well
The excellent that comes out of a box has two options. The excellent that drops on the ground has one, 75% of the time.
What the event produces
About 8 excellent items per day, in each world — across all 64 monsters and all six runs.
For comparison: farming the best map in the game, one excellent shows up every 3 hours and 20 minutes of continuous play. The invasion is the fastest source there is — but it's contested, lasts minutes, and half the monsters give nothing.
How to make it count
- Know the times. The goldens spawn together and die fast.
- Pick your target. Goblin, Soldier and Rabbit are worth double any other that gives something — and infinitely more than the five that give nothing.
- Open the box by dropping it on the ground. That's how it opens.
