Duel
A duel is one against one, arranged between the two. It is not open-map PvP: it is an arranged dispute, with a score.
How to open one
Talk to Doorkeeper Titus, in Vulcanus 122/135.
The rules
| Whoever reaches | 10 points wins |
| You can stake | zen and WCoin |
| Staking items | does not exist |
| Life and shield between rounds | restore |
The stake
Items never enter. Zen and WCoin only — nobody loses gear duelling.
The challenger types the amount; the challenged sees the number and accepts or not. The stake is always equal on both sides: one person sets the number, the other only agrees. There is no haggling, so it cannot end up uneven.
The moment the challenged accepts, the server takes the amount from both and holds it until the end. That is deliberate: if the money only left at the end, it could be spent during the duel and there would be nothing to pay with.
| The winner takes | the other's stake, minus 10% |
| Those 10% | are destroyed — nobody receives them |
| Your own stake | comes back to you in full |
| If nobody wins | both get it back |
Leaving the arena is losing. If you leave the map with a stake in play, the other player is declared the winner and paid on the spot. The same happens if your connection drops. You cannot undo a stake by walking out.
A stalemate — when neither attacks for a while — returns the money to both, because nobody left there.
Where it fits
It is the clean way to settle "who hits harder" without becoming a murderer. A duel leaves no mark, calls no guard, and does not lock you out of events.
