Excellent and Ancient
Excellent
An item with a glowing option — extra damage, life per hit, speed.
From the ground, it comes with one option 75% of the time and two 25% of the time. From the golden invasion box, it comes with two.
Chance by map
| Where | Per kill | One every |
|---|---|---|
| Lorencia and most maps | 0.010% | 16 h |
| Lost Tower · Atlans · Tarkan · Icarus | 0.020% | 8 h |
| Kalima · Aida · Crywolf · Kanturu · Land of Trials | 0.035% | 5 h |
| Karutan · Raklion · Vulcanus · Swamp | 0.050% | 3 h 20 |
At 600 kills per hour. Farming Karutan pays five times Lorencia.
The box is faster than the ground
The shortest path to an excellent isn't farming: it's the golden invasion, which runs six times a day and produces about 8 excellents per day in each world.
The difference is that the ground is constant and the invasion is a window of a few minutes, contested — and where half the monsters give nothing.
Ancient
A set piece, with its own option and a blue glow.
Only drops in Land of Trials, at 0.15% per kill — about one an hour. Across the other 66 maps on the server, zero.
A single piece is worth little
The prize of ancient is the set: five specific pieces among 108 that can drop.
The roll ignores the monster's level and the map — any kill that hits the rate draws from all pieces. That's deliberate: without it, completing a set would be impossible.
