Open beta starts Friday, 28 August

Friday, 7 PM (BRT). One week of beta, then a wipe on 4 September — everyone starts together at launch. Three worlds: x200, x500 and x1000.

Open beta starts Friday, 28 August, at 7 PM (Brasília time). One week later, on 4 September at 7 PM, the server is wiped and the real launch begins.

It is worth being clear about what that means, because "beta" says something different on every server out there.

The 4th erases everything

Characters, items, resets, zen, WCoin — all of it. At launch everyone starts over in the same minute, with nobody carrying an advantage from the week before. That is the whole point of having a beta.

So play this week for what it is: try the classes, find what is broken, decide which world you want to be in on the 4th. Not for the character — it does not survive.

If you buy credits, you get them back

This is the one thing that crosses the wipe.

Bought 250 credits and spent them all? On the 4th you get 250 back. Bought 250 and 50 were left over? You get 250 — not 300. The maths is about what you paid, not about what was left.

The refund covers what was bought. Credits the team hands out during the beta — for testing, events or compensation — do not count towards it.

Three worlds

experience drop PvP
WildMU 200x x200 30% 100% calm progression
WildMU 500x x500 40% 85% balanced pace
WildMU 1000x x1000 50% 70% fast climb

The PvP column multiplies every hit between players. The lower the number, the less damage one player deals to another — meaning fights last longer and there is time to react. Against monsters it is 100% on all three.

Reset points follow the rate too: 500, 700 and 1,000. Every other reset rule is the same across the three worlds.

What we have been doing

MU servers tend to open with a pretty banner and nothing behind it. We spent the last months on what sits behind the screen, and the honest way to talk about that is not with adjectives — it is by telling you where to check:

  • The experience and drop rates the site shows are read from the config the server loads, not typed onto a page. The game client cannot display those numbers — so whatever a toplist shows was typed in by hand. Here you see what the server actually uses.
  • The class balance page shows damage between classes read from the same source. It is not our opinion about who beats whom.
  • The status page tests the server from outside, by region. If it is down, it says so — including when that is embarrassing.
  • Every staff action is logged in the admin panel. The suspicion that a GM creates items for himself is fair, and the answer to it is a log, not a promise.
  • The whole site is in seven languages, including the description of every shop item.
  • Your account has 2FA, a login history and a button to kill every session.

None of this shows up in a trailer. But it is what separates a server that opens from a server that stays.

Payment

Pix and credit card, right on the site. With both, credits land immediately — no more posting a receipt on Discord and waiting for someone to approve it.

Found something wrong, in any language? Tell us on Discord. During the beta that is exactly what we want to hear.
